Untitled #5
Acrylic on Canvas. 2006. Size: 56"h x 53"w. Yes, there really are four other pictures like this one floating around. The first still hangs on the wall in my house, but for some reason people REALLY like this painting so I've had to reproduce it (in different colors,) four more times. This is the latest incarnation.

Delft Pottery #1
Coloured Pencil on Watercolour Paper. 2006. Size: 22"h x 30"w. Most of the coloured pencil drawings I make are of other pieces of art. One of my patrons is particularly fond of Delft pottery and commissioned two drawings. These were kind of fun because I was free to chose the pieces of pottery I wanted to draw and arrange the composition how I wished, rather than having to copy stroke-for-stroke another artist's print.

Delft Pottery #1 Close-up
Close-up of the tea pot in the previous picture.

Delft Pottery #2
Coloured Pencil on Watercolour Paper. 2006. Size: 22"h x 30"w. Again, the second commission in this series of Delft pottery.

Pomegranates
Coloured Pencil on Watercolour Paper. 2006. Size: 22"h x 30" w. I have a love/hate relationship with Colefax and Fowler in that I'm often commissioned to reproduce their prints. It's tedious because each color and stroke needs to match perfectly, but I shouldn't complain because it's commissioned... I shouldn't complain because it's commissioned...

Apples
Acrylic on Canvas. 2006. Size 40"w x 36"h. Apples apples everywhere, but not a one to eat. This painting was a break from a series I was doing in which I was commissioned to paint 6 (SIX!) HUGE paintings of pears.
